Automation as the unsympathetic Pacman: A robotic, automation economy needs a basic income to work. Let us understand the economy as follows: Workers are paid to walk up and down steps and the energy generated from the human foot powers a wheel that is part of an early industrial knitting machine. They were paid usd 12.00 per day. The steps were implemented in the earliest subway system in Istanbul. The steps were electrified and turned into an escalator with a loan from the government. The wheel is still powered. The people were no longer needed to walk the steps powering a wheel. They were made redundant industrially. Money is saved on wages but is now spent on paying back a fixed cost loan to the government. The people may die off. Profits are expected to go up but the people have no work and no money. The government implement a value added tax on the sale of goods and organise a loan payment that is three times the amortised payment over 25 years but also in total a1/4 of what is saved on wages when human labor was made redundant by the escalator. The company has a 75 percent total saving on cost but no ROI yet as the people still have....no money. The government puts money automatically into people's bank accounts. It works out to be 1/3 of the workers former wages. The GM worker used to earn usd 120,000.00 per year but 1/3 of his wage amounts to Usd 40,000.00 and he can still pay his mortgage or rent. Dignity is maintained. There is ROI for the industrial company and more profit. The escalator is full of happy citizens who are consumers and society is maintained as a vibrant enterprise. This is a game of simple understanding but it is the first time in history where the human worker's continued viability is not based on his muscle or dexterity but his own appreciation of his socio-economic value as the citizen and consumer with your entitlement not only to free health care but a wage supplement called basic income. Your understanding and self appreciation should not be taken advantage of to the determinant of entire towns, states and regions like Braddock, Pennsylvania and all of Ohio..and now also Western New York. But, your understanding and self appreciation is necessary to ensure your demand and request for what you are legally entitled to receive according to the rules and this demand must be met with a demand for an apprehension of the rule breakers who have refused to provide this basic income supplement to the citizens for the mutual security benefit and safety legislation of all citizens as their former elected position or job required them to provide it. This makes Brexit a distractive uncertainty, distractive like a 20 year old from Guyana on a GCSe or grade 12 class taking her top off in school and hoping to get negative unruly attention and if you don't chastise her, she says she has authority. Then she steals your wallet when called to come outside of the class to speak to the principal about something. She becomes a politician and finds a way to recreate that same topless polemic. Without understanding your value as a consumer on the economy, you are in the pacman human value board game. Industrial Automation is the pacman. The man who was a pirate ship captain had children with a woman who was the daughter of Cabot; Cabot being an orphan like the pirate ship captain. The man who chose to seek to inherit from his children vs. being the testator was unable to help himself it seems in seeking acceptance as if Cabot's dna took exploring North America's waste land regions as eternal damnation so far away from the pastry shops of Paris or Toulousse and while he was part ship captain, he was also that jester and that Cabot desperately seeking acceptance so that almost anyone could interrupt his boundaries of self respect and tell him what to do.
