The thing about David is that he was much like Adam. You have children and like Forest Gump said, you never know what you are going to get. Maybe you get a Cain and maybe you get an Absalom and maybe you get a Solomon or maybe a Joseph Fail. But, if it is an Absalom trust God like Abraham if God says trust Him since Absalom will take your teeth and if you are guilty and need punishment, you will keep him alive as company as he had sex with your wife and you have confirmed again that you are not a King even in the smallest of ways but a victim of someone or something one more time.
